Patio door with the glass pane removed

ASL Locksmiths were called to Rottingdean to attend a property with a failing UPVC door lock. The door lock mechanism had failed, causing the doors to be jammed solid.

We came up with a solution to remove the patio doors separately. We carefully removed 1 of the glass windows and then the doors from their hinges safely. This made the job smoother in easing out and manipulating the jammed doors apart.

We replaced the faulty lock parts and rehung the doors flush and working perfectly. Our customer was very satisfied with the work.

ASL Locksmiths are your one-call-away guys for UPVC door issues, lock installations/replacements, and other property security services.

MPL mechanism

ASL locksmiths were called to attend a Brighton property to supply and fit a Yale multi point locking unit (MPL) for a UPVC door.

Once corrosion & rust has spread often causes the locking points to fail, so we retrofitted it with a new multi point locking unit, installed an ISEO barrel, a satin handle and full length brand new strikes to keep the frame secured at multiple points. The result is a robust, almost like new UPVC door.

If you need repairs, installation, or replacement for your UPVC doors, windows or double glazing? You’re at the right place, ASL locksmiths have complete many UPVC jobs and can help you secure your property. Repairs are better for the environment. For a fast response call or contact us.
