ASL Locksmiths were called to a property in Brighton to repair a UPVC window in the customer’s bathroom. A failed locking espag mechanism has caused the window to get stuck in a locked position.
We were a two man team who carefully deglazed the window first before using specialist tools to manoeuvre the window frame free. Once the window frame was detached, we supplied and fitted a new locking espag, some new hinges, and a new handle. Once rehung, we ensured that every mechanism was calibrated, ensuring that opening and closing operations were working and the window sealed properly.
